Whoa, Jean ... what kind of response was that ...
In your posting before mine - #54652 - you said the northern part of Maine should go to the Canadians; my posting asked you where you would place Bar Harbor in that division and made the point that most of the coastline is owned by out-of-staters.
Then 54655 you come after me, as though I was serious !!

I try to look on the bright side of things. We make jokes here in Eastern Canada about the Newfoundlanders (Who, by the way, are the nicest people in the world). Anyway a guy asks the Newfounlander what he thought about Quebec succeeding from Canada. His comment was: It would make the drive to Toronto much shorter.

Jean, I'm glad you were just kidding. I'm loke you in That I've always paid my way, we were brought up that way, if you can't pay you go without, not so with todays young people ( not all of them ).
I'm getting off here for now I am making whoopie pies, that I've been putting off all week.
And come Monday morning I'll be in day surgery for the second cataract removal.
And I will say this the Day surgery in P.I. is by far the best part of this hospital.
As for the new health care, non of it will benefit us, it is pretty much a good deal for Ins. co's. and until we have universal Ins. were are all losers. Bye for now.

Arch, how will this bill effect you? I'm not sure it will effect me either way, as I've always worked and paid my bills and medical insurance. I've never gone down to the local government building and requested a dime. ONLY the takers are in line. I don't know what they are going to get because it is all top secret....nothing published for us to read and study and give any possible solutions. We are paying all of their medical now, so what will be any changes in the system?
